Challenge:
Creating the PuppyPrint Genomics brand required striking the right balance between scientific credibility and playful charm. The biggest challenge was crafting a visual identity that felt trustworthy to pet owners interested in genetic testing while feeling warm, approachable, and pet-friendly. It meant navigating complex scientific themes and translating them into straightforward, engaging design without overwhelming the audience.
Solution:
To solve this, I developed a brand identity that merges clean, science-inspired visuals with a soft, friendly aesthetic. I used a modern, rounded typeface and a calming color palette to evoke both trust and warmth. Custom illustrations and playful iconography added a pet-centric feel without compromising clarity. Every design element was carefully chosen to ensure the brand speaks confidently to both the emotional and rational sides of the target audience—making science feel personal, not clinical.
